The new plant will utilize the most advanced available technologies; which equates to lower energy usage than the current on-site plant.  The efficient application of AMCS ULTRA-A™ 200 Series plant technology will result in the optimization of overall plant operating costs which will be realized by Anwil SA.

AMCS is eager to provide this reliable and efficient production capacity for Anwil SA.  This will be the first facility that AMCS supplies to Anwil SA.  When the new plant goes into operation, it will replace an existing plant at the facility.  The new ULTRA-A™ 200 Series plant will provide the facility with oxygen capacity of 5,500 normal cubic meters (Nm³/h); and nitrogen capacity of 11,000 normal cubic meters (Nm³/h).  Cryogenic argon distillation delivers high purity liquid argon at 205 normal cubic meters (Nm³/h).  Argon is a new product for the site and is a highly sought after commodity in the local area. 

The AMCS ULTRA-A™ Series plant is a cryogenic process which produces high purity gaseous oxygen and nitrogen.  Available options include the production of high purity cryogenic liquid argon, oxygen and nitrogen in varying quantities.  Employing sophisticated process design and best in class equipment, the ULTRA-A™ Series delivers an unparalleled product mix, operating flexibility and the highest availability in its class.  Production ranges are from 30 to 200 short tons per day.
